This was the first year that I have attended the Festival for the ENO,it was a special privledge to be there listening to your music, it was a breath of fresh air in an open air concert. Ellis keep up the fantastic music and as I told you at ENO one day we will be watching you in concert just like we did for Melissa Etheridge.

From a disabled veteran & a cancer survivor May GOD bless you always

I just heard you for the first time at the Festival for the Eno in Durham and was sad to have to follow my ride home before your second set was finished. We came as fans of Girlyman and left as fans of yours as well. Thank you for beautiful music!

Hello, Ellis…I met you yesterday at the Government Plaza in Minneapolis and it was such a pleasure! Aside from your wonderful musical abilities, you have the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen. :) Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful music with us. I can’t wait to get Break the Spell! By the way, you said you don’t share your “bad day” music but if you ever decide to, I bet I’m not the only one who wouldn’t mind listening to it. Hope to see you again soon and thanks again!

Toby (the 4 year old and your biggest fan under 4 feet) and I had a great time at the Pride Revue. It was definitely worth missing bedtime to hear you. He hasn't stopped listening to the CD and specifically the title song, "Break the Spell". He plans to share it with his friends at "school" on Monday, where I have no doubt your music be a big hit in the University of Minnesota Child Care Center's preschool room. Should you ever need to break into the "younger crowd", just let us know ;-)

Thanks for sharing your magic!

Oh, what the heck!? I'M ENGAGED! YAY!!!!! I'll email you, I guess, and tell you more, but I guess I(secretly) WANTED to tell everyone on here. So, I did! :)-

Had a wonderful evening with you at my brother Sam's house in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Telling everyone about you. I wish you all the luck in the world - nice people always do well in life as I'm sure you will. It was a pleasure listening to your extraordinary music. God bless.

Ellis- If u ever wonder whether it matters or not- when you stop in the middle of nowhere (Pasco) to play to barely a gathering... it matters to me. I love your music (CDs), but hearing you live- I like to just close my eyes, hang my head- and feel you, the words, and the find another piece of myself. Thanks for coming.

Wishing you peace,
Your Backup Singer Wannabe in Washington (Shara)

Shara, Thank you! It may not seem easy to forget that music matters... however, sometimes I do.. and it's really a gift to be reminded otherwise!! I look forward to being out that way again sometime!

Ellis,

VIP (Very Important Pug) Sun Tzu, did try to gain entrance to your show on Sunday, but sadly we were told "No dogs allowed". I wanted to let you know we did try. I am so sorry to have missed the show, but have gotten to hear your songs online and hope for another chance to hear you live. It was a pleasure to meet you on the streets, as Sun attacked the 'wolf'. Have a safe trip home.
