I met you at the Philly Folk Fest this past year. I'm sure you don't remember but the first song you played was "Angel" and it had me broken up in tears. Well, I've had "Break the Spell" on repeat for quite some time now and Half Winged Angel is a close second to my emotional favorite of yours.
I still haven't come out to my parents, but "Break the Spell" has surely helped me deal it all.

I can't tell you how much "Before You Leave" affected me. I lost my best friend to cancer a couple of years ago...and the pain still remains. I felt angry and cheated out of the rest of our lives together, which now has been replaced with a lingering ache. I know that I "wanted to do something"...and I didn't feel I did. But now I know, I did. I held her hand...and I loved..love her. I will always miss her, and your song is so very special. (it made me see her beautiful face again...pre-cancer)
