Ellis advances to the award round of the NewSong Contest
Great news! After playing "You Are Royalty To Me" in New York City today at the Mountain Stage New Song Contest, Ellis was selected to advance to the Award Round. In that final round, she played "Right On Time" followed by a brand new song, "I Will Always Be Wherever You Are".
Although Ellis was not selected as the winner, we are so proud of all she accomplished.
Says Ellis,"I'm so glad I participated in this contest. All the songwriters were incredible and I wished we all could win! I'm so so happy that Arthur Alligood was selected as the winner. Congratulations, Arthur!"

Ellis was selected as the midwest regional round winner!
Great news! The judges at the Mountain Stage New Song Contest selected Ellis and her song, "You Are Royalty To Me" as the winner for the Midwest Regional round. She'll be participating in the finals in NYC on Oct 20th.
Please note that the People's Choice Finalist is still being decided. There are many excellent songwriters in the contest and you could help one more make it to the finals. You can still watch all the videos and vote for you favorite artist in each regional round here until October 1, 2011!
