Listening tot he AWSOME "The Guest House" CD. The art on your limited edition "On the Cutting Room Floor" is great - any way for you to post it here on your site so I can connect it to your CD in my computer collect?

I saw you at the IUPUI Campus Center performing acoustic. I was having a horrible day and had just been crying in the moments before. As I passed by, I was drawn by your beautiful voice and smile, I decided to sit down for a few minutes and watch. Listening to you, I felt a sense of relief that chased my troubles away. I was completely in the moment, even laughing at your jokes. You lifted my spirit and completely changed my day. I ended up staying for your entire set. All I can say is thank you.

I do my best to transport the energy that I receive for you and your works to everyone that I meet in my day. We need More Ellis' in the world but then again, that is why its so amazing and special, as there is only one of you and you are such a precious gift to the world. I love and miss you!!! Wonderful singing at Prairie Home C. Saturday night. Enjoyed the preformance along with the whole crowd there. It was nice to see you in the lobby afterwards talking and signing CDs with the people. Lots of energy and a nice smile too.

Just heard you for the first time and was awed by your sings and your voice. And when Garrison asked you about writing the song, you laughed with the most sound I have ever heard.Listen to a recording of the show and you'll hear what I mean.

You Are Royalty to Me
Saw you perform this song at the Folks Festival in Lyons, CO this past summer. I'm so happy that it is on your new album. It is such a good song. Hope to see you there again this summer.

I stood at the back of the Wildflower Pavilion for your set. The guy next to me said, 'Have you met her?' and I nodded. 'I think everyone has,' he said, as we both nodded in amazement at your generosity, your talent, your spirit and your music. Thanks for the most uplifting and heart-connecting set of the festival. Also, thanks for the gentleness you found in Dave Carter's 'When I Go.' I'm sponsoring you on Patreon in hopes that you'll record that song... or whatever other music you want to make and share. Consider my donation a random act of kindness (but regularly scheduled).

Jim/How can you know me so well.
Minneapolis
I have never been touched as deeply by a performing artist as I was tonight at your performance on the campus of Winona State University.
Sometimes I wonder “why can’t life be easier”. “How could anyone think and feel like me”. Tonight I felt like at least one other person does. Thank you for summing up and offering some explanations for my confusing and painful life. My memories are trapped in a wishing well, and I many times I assume I am unfixable because the pain resurfaces nearly every time I come out of my cave.
Upon examination my life is not one total failure after another. It is a series of small successes which would add up to a happy life if I acknowledge them and bring them into the light. And upon reflection, the pain I feel today is more the realizing that the specific joys I once had are no longer available to me. But my life is not worthless or wasted. I have given and received love in the past and I will again in the future. Thank you Ellis for helping me realize that I will transition into a better place. I will be happy again.
I also felt the energy in the air. Thank you so much for being you and doing what you do.

Nicole Delaney/ WBUUC Performance

I loved your performance at WBUUC several weeks ago. I bought 3 CDs and have been playing them repeatedly. My favorite is the acoustic in the cardboard case. Pure, simple, and beautiful. I said it that day and I will say it again, you are a truly authentic person; meaning your power and grace are present for all to see. You are a gift from the universe to all those you touch with your music and presence. Thank You!

I was moved to tears as I read your email. Having a 8 year old son, that I too have tried to shield from the "evils" of the world, I thought of what loving parents your daughter has. Our children are the greatest measure of our hope for a "better" world. Thanks for all you do!!!! Many Blessings!
